กูเกิลได้เปิดตัว Google Play Pass สมาชิกแบบรายเดือน เล่นเกมและแอปฯ ที่ร่วมรายการได้ไม่อั้น
เมื่อวันที่ 24 กันยายน 2562 กูเกิลได้เปิดตัว Google Play Pass บริการสมัครสมาชิกแบบเหมาจ่ายรายเดือน โดยผู้ใช้ที่เป็นสมาชิกจะสามารถเล่นเกมและโหลดแอปฯ ใน Google Play ที่ร่วมรายการกว่า 350 แอปฯ (จะมีมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ ในอนาคต) ได้ไม่จำกัดและไม่มีโฆษณา คล้าย ๆ กับ Apple Arcade โดยมีค่าบริการเดือนละ $4.99 หรือประมาณ 150 บาท และสำหรับผู้ที่สมัครในช่วงแรกจะมีโปรโมชั่นราคาพิเศษเดือนละ $1.99 หรือประมาณ 60 บาทเป็นเวลา 1 ปี
สิ่งที่ Google Play Pass แตกต่างจาก Apple Arcade ก็คือนอกจาก Google Play Pass จะมีเกมให้เล่นเป็นส่วนใหญ่แล้ว ก็จะมีแอปฯ ให้ใช้ได้อีกจำนวนหนึ่งด้วย แต่เกมทั้งหมดจะมัให้ซื้อใน Google Play อยู่แล้ว ไม่มีเกม Exclusive อย่างที่มีใน Apple Arcade นอกจากนี้ผู้ใช้ Google Play Pass ก็ยังสามารถแชร์ให้คนในครอบครัวใช้งานได้อีก 5 คนด้วย
Google Play Pass จะเปิดให้บริการเฉพาะในสหรัฐอเมริกาก่อนในช่วงแรก และจะขยายไปเปิดให้บริการในประเทศอื่น ๆ ต่อไปในภายหลัง สำหรับตัวอย่างรายชื่อแอปฯ และเกมของ Google Play Pass ในช่วงแรกมีดังนี้
